Which Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses charging cases are compatible with this dock?
The RayDock Charging Dock is fully compatible with the original charging cases of all Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, including Wayfarer (Standard & Large), Skyler, and Headliner models. It supports both Gen 1 and Gen 2 versions.
How long does it take to fully charge?
It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the original Ray-Ban Meta charging case (same as the official charging speed). It also supports fast charging, delivering approximately 50% charge in 22 minutes.
After reaching 100%, the dock switches to trickle charging to protect battery health. The full charging cycle takes about 4 hours.
Can this dock directly charge the glasses?
No. This dock is designed to power the original charging case only. The glasses are charged when placed inside the case, just like the standard charging method.
Do I need to use the original charging cable?
The dock features a USB-C port and is compatible with most standard USB-C cables. For optimal performance and safety, we recommend using the included USB-C cable and a 5V/2A (or higher) certified power adapter.
Can I open the charging case while charging? Can the glasses charge at the same time?
Yes. The charging case can be opened and closed normally without affecting performance. While the case is charging on the dock, the glasses inside will also charge simultaneously—no additional steps required.
What do the indicator lights mean?
Tap the dock (or nearby surface) to activate the indicator light:
Power on: Solid light for 8 seconds
Charging: Breathing light for 8 seconds
Fully charged: Solid light for 8 seconds
All lights automatically turn off after 8 seconds to avoid disturbance.
